La Poubelle Vintage Summer 2014 Lookbook

Oh this poor neglected blog of mine! Some day I do hope to be updating it more but for now, please enjoy these shots from the most recent vintage lookbook that we shot. This was another collaboration with my very talented friend Janelle Jones and I hope to get into the habit of doing one of these a season, or at least two per year. Hope you enjoy!

Spring Previews

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen these images that I posted a few weeks ago in preparation for the launch of my spring vintage collection. These were shot my friend Janelle Jones who is an amazing photographer and styled by yours truly. Many items have sold out already but I've included links to items still available!

The Return of Schiaparelli

Vintage enthusiasts certainly know the name Elsa Schiaparelli but since the wonderfully playful designer closed her fashion house in 1954, she is a relative unknown to many. Fortunately, that all may be changing now that her brand is being resurrected with designer Marco Zanini at the helm. The house of Schiaparelli showed its first collection in 60 years yesterday at Couture Fashion Week. Have you guys checked it out yet? What did you think? I love that Zanini captured Schiaparelli's whimsical spirit. Here are some looks from yesterday's couture show paired with some of my Schiaparelli favorites from the past.
